Orthotics (Insoles)

Following a consultation with your Podiatrist, you may be advised that you would benefit from a specially made insole. This would be a cushioning insole, heel raise, or a redistributive insole to reduce pressure on certain areas of your feet.

The insoles are individually made to your specific requirements by specially trained staff using fully trained materials. Dependant upon your prescription, you may have the adjustment to take home with you after the treatment.

As they are designed specifically to fit in your shoes, it is advisable to bring along a couple of shoes that you wear most frequently to ensure that the insole fits correctly.

How do you know if you need Orthotics?

Orthotics can help foot pronation or supination. You have no arch or a high arch in your foot – If you have very high or low arches, regular shoes may not provide your feet the support they need. You may have severe pain in your foot or heel – While this may sound obvious, many people avoid foot pain.
